Board Members - all Board Members are residents of NW Arkansas

Jeremy Braziel, Assistant Athletic Trainer, University of Arkansas - Jeremy Braziel joined the Arkansas Athletics Department in October 2006 and works with the women's basketball and golf teams. Jeremy came to Arkansas from the University of Tennessee at Martin where he handled the day-to-day athletic training needs of the football team and was an adjunct instructor at UT-Martin. Jeremy is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with his bachelor’s degree in athletic training and has completed his graduate course work at Ohio State University towards his master’s degree in allied health management. In addition to his collegiate athletic training experience, Jeremy has worked with several professional football teams including the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, and has also worked with NFL Europe, serving as an Athletic Trainer for Scottish Claymores in Glasgow, Scotland. Jeremy lives with his wife Diana in Fayetteville.

Lee Clemons III, VP of Sales & Marketing, Navigait LLC- Lee lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife Rejeaner and daughter Lauren. Previous to his position with Navigait LLC, Lee served as the Bentonville Team Leader for Atlanta based publishing company Anderson Press/Dalmatian Publishing Group for 15 years. Lee’s interest in the KFHF came from meeting Rhonda Fincher in the offices of Game On Promotion in Fayetteville, Arkansas supporting the Foundation’s awareness initiatives. Assisting in furthering the awareness of proper hydration and prevention of heat related illness through printing and publishing is Lee’s motivation to be a member of KFMF.

Sheila Gamble, Director of Beverages, PepsiCo, Sheila has lived in Northwest Arkansas the past two years and been active in the Kendrick Fincher Foundation since she arrived in March 2008. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree (BAC) in accounting. She has two young children, Ryan and Lauren, and her husband Mike who all actively support the mission of the foundation. She has worked for PepsiCo in a variety of roles over the last 14 years currently supporting Gatorade, Tropicana and Propel. Gatorade is obviously a natural fit for the Kendrick Fincher Hydration Foundation and is proud of its sponsorship of the Youth Run and Hydration Campaign activities.

Mauricio Herrera, Attorney, Matthews, Campbell, Rhoads, McClure, Thompson & Fryauf, PA
Mauricio has been a resident of Northwest Arkansas since January 1996. He and his wife Virginia have 3 children--Samantha, Bryant and Abner. He is a graduate of John Brown University, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, in May 1999, with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management, and the University of Arkansas, School of Law, Fayetteville, Arkansas, in May 2002 with a Juris Doctor. Mauricio currently Practices Law in the areas of Immigration, Criminal, Family and Personal in Rogers, Arkansas.

He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Arkansas Bar Association and Benton County Bar Association. Mauricio serves on the board of directors of the Jones Center for Families in Springdale, Arkansas; Credit Counseling of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Northwest Arkansas Community Foundation, Springdale, Arkansas. He was appointed by Gov. Huckabee to serve on the Task Force on Racial Profiling from June 2006 to December 31, 2006.

Laura Kennedy, Senior Director, Wal-Mart Stores

Hubert Loudermilk, Project Manager, Sam’s Club - Hubert Currently works for the Sam’s Club Corporate office as the New Store Fuel Project Manager. Hubert has worked for Sam’s fuel division the past 5 years, is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Hubert was a 4 year letterman with the U of A football team and a 3 year letterman with the U of A track team, and is heavily involved in athletics across the Northwest Arkansas area. He has a son Jadyn, and currently lives in Fayetteville.

Kenyell Ollie, CTFL, Systems Quality Analyst Engineer, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Information Systems Division
Kenyell was raised in Marion, AR, and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway with a BBA in Management Information Systems in 2004. After graduating, he worked in Little Rock as a Lead Web Developer/Programmer and then moved to NW Arkansas where he started as an Advanced Programmer with Walmart ISD in 2006. Kenyell suffered heat exhaustion while marching with Drum Corps International in 2001 that ended his marching career and is proud to be involved with an organization passionate about educating others in preventing heat illness. Kenyell lives in Bentonville with his wife, Alicia.

Raul Ruiz, Asst. VP and Branch Manager, Metropolitan National Bank at Pleasant Crossing Branch in Rogers and the Pea Ridge Branch.
Raul Ruiz is originally from Chicago, Il, where he graduated from William J. Bogan Computer Technical High School, attended Richard J. Daley College and received his Associates and Bachelors Degree from American Intercontinental University in Business BBA (Human Resource Management). He is currently the CEO/President of EZRecruitingOnline.com a resume posting website which he founded in August of 2009. He is also an Assistant Vice-President at Metropolitan National Bank, where he manages 2 branches in the Northwest Arkansas area. Previous to Metropolitan he was in the Human Resources Department at Cox Communications as a Senior Recruiter. Raul serves on various community boards, he is the Chair of the Northwest Arkansas Hispanic Council, Board Member and Chair for the Kendrick Fincher Hydration Foundation, Treasurer of the Lowell Lions Club, Past Diversity Chair for the NWA Human Resource Association, Past President of LULAC, Member of Society for Human Resource Management, Past Board Member of the NWAMLK Planning Committee and community volunteer. Raul resides in Springdale, AR, with his wife Rosario and three children Yescenia, Miguel, and Merscedez.

Laura Tucker, owner, Best Banner & Sign
Laura is a Rogers native graduating from Rogers High School in 1988. She started Best Banner & Sign in Rogers in 1994. She has been involved in the Kendrick Fincher Youth Run since 2004 and is currently serving a 3-year term as board member. She and her husband Russ live in Springdale with their 4 children and attend First Baptist Church of Springdale.

Annette Scogin, CMAA District Athletic Administrator for Springdale Public Schools. Her passion is volunteering when she is not working to service the coaches and community of Springdale. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends when volunteering. Professionally she has been with Springdale schools for 5 years having moved here from Little Rock where she was the district assistant athletic director. Annette has served as AHSAAA President and is currently the NIAAA President Elect. Annette holds a masters in education administration plus 15 credits from Harding University, she received her undergraduate from Henderson State University where she played college sports. Annette travels across the nation speaking on the importance of athletics and development beyond the x and o's with coaches, parents and athletes.



Advisory Board

Andrew Cozart, Attorney, Fayetteville, Arkansas -- Andrew lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with his wife Nancy and two sons, he has been a board member since the inception of the Foundation in 1996 and served as Board Chair through 2006 and currently serves in an advisory capacity. His interest in the Foundation came from meeting Mike and Rhonda Fincher and seeing the passion and emotion they possessed in preventing a tragedy such as theirs from ever happening again.

Kim Mason, Physical Education Instructor and District Health and Physical Education Director for the Rogers Public School District. She is a board member on the Rogers Community-School Recreation Association. She also serves with the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Milken Foundation Educator, PE4Life Academy Director and various school and community committees.

Ronnie Peacock, Rogers High School Football Coach
Ronnie was the Athletic Director for Rogers Public Schools from 2001 to 2007 and is currently serving as football coach at Rogers High School. Ronnie served as board member from 2002-2005 and is currently serving in an advisory capacity. Ronnie and his wife, Martina, have three grown children.

George Schaefer, Pediatrician, Rogers Pediatric Clinic
Dr. Schaefer is a pediatrician with Mercy Health in Rogers. Dr. Schaefer presents heat illness information on behalf of the Foundation and is also the director of the Kendrick Fincher Youth Run. Dr. Schaefer and his wife, Alesia, have seven children.

Steven Williams, Vice President, Wal-Mart Team, PepsiCo. Steven leads a cross functional team, that includes headquarter sales, finance, sales planning, category management, and retail execution. Steven has been with PepsiCo for 12 years and before assuming responsibility for the Walmart Business he held key positions in the PepsiCo Chicago Headquarters, in addition to Southern California and Dallas Field offices. Steven has a BA in Economics from the University of Central Oklahoma; and in 2006 he successfully completed the Harvard Business School, General Management - Program for Leadership Development. Steven lives in Northwest Arkansas with his wife (Christy) and two children (Lauren 10, Jacob 8).
