BENTONVILLE — About 300 Kendrick Fincher Hydration Foundation supporters gathered on the ninth floor of the Bentonville Plaza building on April 17 for the inaugural A View from the Top fundraiser.

The event garnered approximately $15,000 for the charity that promotes proper hydration and prevention of heat illness through presentations to school children, athletes, coaches and parents.

The Fincher Foundation also distributes water bottles at its presentations and provides “cool huts” that are misting tents at various public events.

The group recently embarked on the Hydration Campaign to provide continuing education for coaches paired with online information and quizzes for students and parents.
